John joined BY&S in June 2009, bringing with him over five years of experience in auditing and due diligence. John is responsible for BY&S’ ever-evolving work product and is an integral part of our review team. Prior to his current role, John served as a Healthcare Due Diligence Auditor, initially at Merrill Lynch Capital and continuing with GE Capital following GE’s acquisition of Merrill Lynch Capital’s healthcare portfolio. His career began at BDO, conducting year-end audits for clients in the healthcare and manufacturing industries, and preparing Medicare and Medicaid cost reports for Skilled Nursing Facilities. John was promoted to partner in January 2024.

John holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In his free time, John enjoys golfing, spending quality time with his wife, and keeping up with his three young children.
