Amy is a seasoned senior financial executive with over 35 years of diverse industry experience, spanning service, finance, healthcare, contracting, government contracting, and non-profit sectors. Her extensive skill set includes providing part-time and interim CFO services, turnaround management, strategic planning, and analyzing financial opportunities. Amy excels in process optimization, cost analysis, operational efficiency, and personnel management. Amy co-founded BY&S’ predecessor firm and transitioned her focus exclusively to healthcare clients in 2014. She currently oversees internal operations and financial management at BY&S, leveraging her expertise in system conversions, interim financial management, and financial statement analysis.

Amy is a Certified Public Accountant with a BBA in Finance from George Washington University. She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. Outside of her career, Amy likes spending quality time with her family. She also enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and maintains an active lifestyle with weight training and kickboxing.
