Sam grew up in Havre de Grace, Maryland, located in Harford County (close to the BY&S office). He graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) in December 2021 with a BS in Financial Economics. Sam married Julianna in July 2022 and enjoys reading, fantasy football, strategy games, and is involved in his local church.

Prior to graduation, Sam began an internship with BY&S in January 2018. He accepted a full-time position with BY&S after graduation. Sam has become an integral part of the BY&S team over the past several years and continues to grow as he takes on more responsibilities on our monitoring team. He’s great at working with large data sets and has taken the lead on developing and improving the BY&S survey product. He is eager to gain knowledge but it’s his ability to critically think that sets him apart. We’re excited to have him and look forward to sharing in his bright future.
